Early Works – Explore the Beginning of My Artistic Journey
Migration by LeeBB Art
A nostalgic collection of original watercolours by LeeBB Art
As an artist, every piece I create is a step on a journey. Over time, my style, techniques, and subjects have evolved, reflecting the growth and learning that comes with each new painting. Now, I’m excited to share a new shop category called “Early Works”, where you can explore and own pieces from the earlier stages of my artistic path.
A Glimpse into the Past
The Early Works collection features original watercolour paintings created before my current style fully developed. These include wildlife, landscapes, seascapes, and mountainscapes, all painted at A4 and A5 sizes.
Each piece captures a moment in time in my growth as an artist — experiments, discoveries, and lessons learned along the way.
One standout piece in the collection is my seascape called “Peace”, which reflects my early explorations of colour, light, and mood at the shoreline.
Learning Through Each Piece
From mountainscapes to seascapes, and then wildlife and other landscapes, every early work represents a chapter in my artistic journey. Each time I completed a painting, I would critique my work, learning from what worked and what could be improved. These paintings are not just art; they are visual markers of growth and experimentation.
‘Peace’ - Watercolour Painting
This is one of my earlier seascape paintings where i am trying to capture the movement of the ocean.
Because they come from an earlier period in my development, these works are offered at a reduced cost. They may not have the refinement of my current pieces, but they carry a nostalgic charm and authenticity that make them special.
One-Off Originals
All pieces in the Early Works collection are one-offs, so each is truly unique. Whether you are a collector looking to trace my artistic evolution or someone simply seeking an original watercolour with character, there’s something in this collection for you.
Tips for Picking Your Early Work
Connect with the subject: Choose pieces that speak to you — maybe a landscape that reminds you of a place you love, or a wildlife painting that sparks a memory.
Think about size: All Early Works are generally A4 or A5, making them perfect for smaller spaces or galleries of multiple pieces. However, there are some not-so-standard sizes there too.
Enjoy the journey: Each painting is part of a story — you’re not just buying a painting, you’re owning a piece of my growth as an artist.
Explore the Collection
I invite you to explore the Early Works shop category and find a piece that resonates with you. Each painting is an original watercolour, ready to be part of your collection.
