How the Commission Process Works
Step 1 – Decide on Your Artwork
Would you like a gift for someone special, or a new centrepiece for your own home? Think about subject (pet, landscape, or something else), preferred size, and whether you’d like a traditional or more abstract style.
Step 2 – Choose a Size
I paint on professional watercolour paper in a range of sizes. Common choices include A5, A4, and A3, but I can work to custom sizes too.
Step 3 – Share Your Vision
Once you have an idea, simply get in touch. I’ll discuss your ideas with you and provide a clear plan and quote.
Step 4 – Creation & Delivery
After we agree on the details, I’ll begin painting your unique piece. Once finished, it will be carefully packaged and shipped directly to you, ready to display and enjoy.

How much does a commission cost?
Pricing depends on the size, subject, and level of detail. Smaller works naturally cost less than larger, more detailed paintings. Once you share your ideas with me, I’ll provide a clear quote before starting.
How long will my commission take?
Most commissions take 2–4 weeks, maybe longer, depending on the size and complexity of the piece. If you need your painting for a special date (like a birthday or anniversary), please let me know and I’ll do my best to accommodate.
Can I request changes to my painting?
Yes! I want you to be completely happy with your artwork. However, this applies to the planning stage, as once watercolour paintings have begun, you can’t really make changes to the painting. With regards to oil paintings, small adjustments can be discussed during the process, though major changes may affect the timeframe or cost.
What sizes can you paint?
Common sizes include A5, A4, and A3 watercolour paper. However, depending on the subjec,t I may suggest a different size completely. I also accept custom size requests — just let me know what you have in mind.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes! I ship commissions worldwide. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout depending on your location and the size of the artwork.
