Bridgnorth Open House Arts Trail 2026: Reflections on a Wonderful Weekend

Another Bridgnorth Open House Arts Trail has come to an end, and I wanted to take a moment to reflect on what was a thoroughly enjoyable weekend.

Firstly, a huge thank you to everyone who visited. Whether you stopped by to browse, purchase a piece of artwork, chat about painting, or simply say hello, your support is always appreciated.

The Open House Arts Trail is one of those events that reminds me why I enjoy sharing my work with the public. Creating artwork can often be a solitary activity, so having the opportunity to meet people face-to-face, discuss paintings, and hear what resonates with visitors is incredibly rewarding.

Throughout the weekend, I exhibited a selection of original paintings, prints, greeting cards and other products from the LeeBB Art collection. It was wonderful to see people spending time with the artwork, asking questions about the creative process, and sharing their own stories and connections to particular pieces.

One of the highlights for me was hearing the feedback from visitors. As artists, we often spend so much time looking at our own work that we can become our own harshest critics. Hearing what people enjoy about a painting, what catches their eye, or what memories a piece evokes is always encouraging.

The event also provided an opportunity to meet fellow artists and creative people. One of the best things about events like the Open House Arts Trail is the sense of community. Everyone is there because they share a passion for creativity, and it is always inspiring to see the variety of artwork on display across the trail.

Of course, events like this are not just about sales. They are about making connections, building relationships, introducing new people to your work, and becoming part of the local arts community. Every conversation, every visitor, and every word of encouragement helps make the event worthwhile.

As I pack away the display stands and artwork for another year, I am already reflecting on ideas for future events and exhibitions. Each event teaches me something new and helps me continue growing as both an artist and a business owner.

Thank you once again to everyone who visited, supported, purchased artwork, shared kind words, or followed my artistic journey over the weekend.

I look forward to seeing many of you again at future exhibitions, events, and, of course, online here at LeeBB Art.

Until next time.
